Associate Creative Director

The Associate Creative Director leads and directs cross:disciplinary development of innovative and engaging digital experiencesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESBrainstorm, concept and collaborate on overall campaign ideas with creative teamSet and lead overall creative direction across all disciplines to execute conceptsProactively identify and resolves issuesPresent effectively and concisely directly to clientsTake personal accountability for on:time deliverables and expertly crafted design that is in compliance with client style guides and standardsAlways present work to CD/ECD before all internal meetings and client presentationsActively work to train othersEnsure that all work is in compliance with client style guides and graphic standardsResponsible for representing and communicating AKQA's creative and business philosophy, methodology and capabilities to current and potential clients, as well asacross all departments.Stay aware of current design trends and industry innovationsServe as mentor, inspire and lead peers within creative department**REQUIREMENTS**:7+ years experience in relevant fieldsExceptional portfolioStrong background in one or more of the creative disciplines (design, art direction, interaction design, copywriting, motion graphics, creative development)Outstanding creative ability, strong concept developmentAbility to lead a team across all creative disciplinesAbility to identify creative methods to arrive at solutionsExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsTeam oriented, self:motivatedUnderstand the principles and process of web developmentDisplay professional, articulate, and mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationship buildingMust be able to direct photographers, illustrators, producers, sound designers, directors and outside vendors as needed
