Exploration Geologist

Mining - Exploration & Geoscience (Mining, Resources & Energy) Chalice is an ASX-listed, globally recognised specialist explorer and developer with a major greenfield PGE, nickel, copper, cobalt and gold discovery at its Julimar Project in Western Australia, just ~70km NE of Perth.The impact of this globally significant discovery has been profound for Chalice, and now is the time tojoin the team as the Company transitions from explorer to developer. Chalice has an enviable 8000km2 exploration area in the largely unexplored West Yilgarn PGE-Ni-Cu province, first-mover advantage, and a consistently well supported exploration budget. The Role We are seeking highly motivated Exploration Geologists to work with a team of geoscience professionals to advance Chalice?s early-stage PGE-Ni-Cu portfolio from exploration discovery to resource.In this full-time permanent role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the best discoveries in recent times. Reporting to the Lead Geologist ? Gonneville you will work both in the field and in the West Perth head office where you can hone your skills working alongside some of the world?s best explorationists. Responsibilities:Working within a team of experienced geologists to progress and expand the Company?s Gonneville discovery whilst having the opportunity to work on regional exploration projectsGain exposure to all stages of resource drilling and exploration programs including design and execution across a range of tenementsBe involved with aircore/RC/diamondcore drilling programs including logging, data entry and contractor supervisionUndertake early-stage exploration activities such as surface geochemical sampling and/or mapping10-hour site days, close to Perth with comfortable accommodationRoster designed to develop and progress keen geologists with field work and corporate office exposure.
