This means planning, organizing, and implementing consistent design principles and production processes to ensure that the design/production guardrails are met. This role needs to drive overall design excellence within a fast paced consumer goods environment (e.g. beverages, snacks, nutrition) in a critical region for PepsiCo.Accountabilities:Lead and Takes ownership of the visual identity for specific brands in the portfolioLeading internal and external design partners to execute solution for Greater China BusinessWorking in collaboration with the SR Design director, Brand teams, insights teams and global design team while leading design team memberGenerates creative design proposals (visions, scenarios, concepts) in order to visualize the desired output and share it with internal and external team members.Participates in research activities and effectively translates customer needs into actionable design requirements. Execute those requirements into design solutions. Responsible for driving to final design recommendations, decisions and design approval to enable artwork execution / production phases. Ensure thorough consideration of all project variables and that the final solutionDeeply involved in Greater China and APAC strategic projects and overall regional structural packaging and experienceParticipate in the creation of global design strategies by bringing the voice of the region to the forefront by liaising with global design headsDemonstrates an ability to understand the technical, social and emotional values that have critical business significance. Maintain aflow of value through the integration of the business strategies, market and social trends, and available technologiesDevelop and adjust strategies and/or process to meet changing market and competitive conditionsChampion and embed GCS understanding, control, ownership and execution within GCR to achieve an effective audit rating Qualifications/Requirements**Requirements**:At least 15+ years of deep Design experience (brand experience preferred)Product/Graphic designer Degree or similarExtraordinary design taste and skillStrong project management and design management skillsAbility to work in dynamic work environment; is comfortable with risk and uncertaintyEffectively communicates in English (verbally and written) with internal/external stakeholder across all levels, with Chinese or other Asian language as a plusWorks well with others to deliver results; keeps others informed to avoid unnecessary surprisesCapability to develop and visualize concepts through hand sketching or computer softwareExtraordinary ability in using the Adobe Creative Suite software (is a Plus)An incurable curiosity relating to all design thingsGreat passion for new and creative trendsCan work smoothly with a fast:paced interdisciplinary teamTeam oriented, brainstorming sessions or presenting in front of other team membersDifferentiating Competencies Required:Highly collaborative (e.g. ability to manage team that is consist of diversity culture and background)Demonstrate clear point of view relating to their design (e.g. guide/lead team with clear direction)Open and optimistic with entrepreneurship (e.g strong adaptability, good learning agility, quick turn:around in dealing with emergency or unknown biz situation, embrace change and uncertainty)Can effectively influence senior levels in the organization across brands and functionsRelocation Eligible:Eligible for Limited Relocation**Job Type**:Regular
