We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the development and management of legal operations for Weir's Minerals and ESCO LATAM businesses, including identifying business operational needs and potential solutions, strategic planning, developing and rolling out business process, documentation, and legal training, and managing change.- Develop close working relationships with Weir businesses in LATAM and in other regions to provide timely, commercially-orientated and sound legal advice, and enable business to build and grow legal maturity and acumen.- Assist General Counsel LATAM to provide commercial contract support to the Weir businesses LATAM operations for customer sales, procurement and other commercial contract matters.- Assist with the regional implementation of Weir Legal policies, including the Code of Conduct, Weir Competition Manual and Weir Commercial Manual, and Identify opportunities for and provide legal and compliance training.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:- Legal experience gained in a well-regarded in-house (mid-level or senior lawyers ideal, and in-house general counsel experience highly desirable).- Experience working on complex international corporate and commercial transactions.- Individual with a positive, professional, and collaborative demeanour in order to gain the confidence, trust and reliance of colleagues globally.- Outstanding legal and commercial contracts skills.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
