Job ID 22740- Onshore Wind- Permanent- Oceania- Overview:- Manage renewable energy projects from site identification to final investment decision.- Identify potential project sites, conduct due diligence, model, and coordinate land tenure activities.- Develop project plans, define scopes, and set milestones and budgets.- Oversee implementation activities such as surveys, approvals, design, and procurement.- Build relationships with stakeholders including landowners, government, communities, and industry partners.- Execute stakeholder campaigns to enhance market reputation.- Handle regulatory approvals, permits, and grid connections.- Source and procure services for multiple projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.- Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards.- Prepare and present project updates to steering committees and maintain detailed project documentation for auditing purposes.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.- 8-10 year's experience in renewable energy project development (Preferably with a focus on onshore wind energy)- Strong knowledge of the renewable energy market, regulatory environment, and project development in the National Electricity Market.- Proven success in managing large-scale renewable energy projects from conception to completion, including obtaining Development Approvals and Connection Agreements.- Detailed understanding of the National Electricity Market.- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.- Strong problem-solving ability, foreseeing and addressing potential risks.- Willingness to travel as necessary to project sites within Australia.- Based in New South Wales or willing to move to NSW.
