This is an exciting regional role with oversight on compliance matters across our regional markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines.ResponsibilitiesTake charge of end:to:end compliance matters for the Payments division including merchant onboarding/KYC, transaction monitoring and regulatory reportingMaintain a strong working knowledge of the regulatory requirements and ensuring any developments and changes are incorporated into procedures and practices as appropriateOversee daily operations of KYC/CDD and AML/CTF checks, and ensuring policies and standards and implemented and adheredProvide regulatory training to all employees on relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and the maintenance of training recordsRequirements4+ years of compliance/legal experience in Fintech or payment startupsDegree in law or accountancy and/or compliance related qualificationsUp to date knowledge and familiarity on regulatory and compliance requirements including PCI DSS and Payment Services Act etcRegional compliance experience in Southeast Asia is a strong plusEntrepreneurial mindset and a strong focus on executionOutstanding interpersonal skills and relationship building abilitiesStrong leadership, decision making and project management skillsAbility to takea pragmatic, commercial approach to legal and compliance whilst achieving desired business outcomesWhy join Qashier?
