JCW is working with a well-established bank in the Los Angeles Metro Area to help them hire a Senior Audit Manager. This position reports directly to the Chief Audit Executive and plays a key role in executing the risk assessment and annual audit plan. Responsibilities include planning and performing corporate internal audits, supervising internal and co-sourced auditors, and ensuring compliance with the Internal Audit Charter and professional standards.
The Senior Audit Manager also supports the Chief Audit Executive with Audit Committee reporting and various corporate initiatives such as the annual COSO update, continuous monitoring, regulatory issue validation, and tracking of audit issues. This role is hybrid, with three in-office days per week based in Long Beach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage multiple audits and projects at the same time
- Oversee the annual audit planning process, including quarterly risk assessments
- Prepare, review, and finalize audit reports with actionable recommendations
- Maintain strong knowledge of corporate functions such as Credit Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Model Risk, Third Party Management, Lending Operations, and Credit Review

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, risk management, regulatory work, or a related field
- Prior experience in a regional or large bank is required
- Strong background in financial services, especially in corporate audit areas like Credit and Enterprise Risk Management
- Proven leadership or team management experience in audit
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Must hold a relevant certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA, CRISC, or similar
