WHAT YOU BRING

As a Lead Software Engineer, you will lead offshore developers, work with stakeholders, and mentor junior team members. You will ensure quality standards and scalable, efficient code.

- Build scalable,
interactive web UIs.
- Work independently and with a team of onshore and offshore engineers.
- Translate business goals into technology decisions.
- Conduct code reviews and use continuous integration.
- Promote collaboration and rapid development using agile practices.
- Identify and address gaps in products and processes.
- Master new technologies and provide technical direction.
- Ensure system quality, security, and performance.
- Contribute ideas for system improvements and architectural decisions.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- 7+ years full stack experience with Ruby on Rails and React, preferably in SaaS.
- Experience managing remote teams.
- Proven support of enterprise software.
- Proficiency in modern languages like Ruby, Java, Typescript.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated,
and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of object-oriented/functional paradigms.
- Experience with RESTful microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of system architecture, scalability, and cloud services like AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL and best coding practices.
- Understanding of design principles like SOLID, agile principles like YAGNI.
- Experience troubleshooting multi-tier systems with observability tools.
- Proactive questioning and high coding standards.
- Ability to design schemas and evaluate approaches.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Data: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search
