Radio Frequency Engineer

Now Hiring: Radio Frequency Engineer – San Diego County, CA (must be local)

We're looking for a Radio Frequency Engineer with experience in RF systems and Tactical Data Link (TDL) communications to support national security-focused work. This is a fulltime salaried, onsite position in San Diego requiring eligibility for a Top Secret clearance.

In this role, you will:

1. Design, develop, test, and sustain RF and TDL communication systems
2. Conduct data analysis to support system-level decisions
3. Use test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
4. Develop technical documentation including test plans and reports
5. Apply systems engineering principles to complex communication technologies


Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in radio frequency engineering
2. Strong knowledge of RF communications systems and components
3. Familiarity with T processes, system integration, and modulation systems
4. Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
5. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Bonus if you have:

- Experience with open architecture frameworks (SOSA, CMOSS, OMS, UCI)
- Familiarity with LPD/LPI waveforms and anti-jam communication systems
- Previous work supporting defense or federal programs
