Requirements:
— Minimum 7 years for Senior Software Engineer
— Expert understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6 +), CSS3, and HTML5
— Electron/NodeJS/NAPI Experience
— C and C++ Experience
— A firm grasp of fundamentals including object oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis
— Comfortable on Mac, Windows and Linux environments
Will be a plus:
— Familiarity with Backbone, Handlebars, SASS, Angular, React, or other adjacent technologies
— Knowledge of the latest development trends from mobile web, including responsive design, accessibility, and site performance
— Working knowledge of cross platform/browser compatibility issues (Edge, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
— Worked with or have the desire to work in test driven development
— Python
— Knowledge of the general heuristics for cacheability
— Made contributions to open source projects
— The ability to mentor other engineers and the willingness to learn from others
— Interest in online communities, games, or 3D graphics
— Familiarity with the FBX file format
Responsibilities:
— Leverage the advanced graphical features of Northstar, our custom scene renderer
— Maintain a stand-alone C++ tool for FBX importing
— Develop and write tests to ensure stability
— Review code and support your peers
— Implement architectural solutions for a great user experience
— Work with C++ SDKs and APIs
— Proficient, and continuously improving, in written communication inside code and communications — channels such as email or documentation
