Many internal and external teams depend on Juju for their products and services, including Canonical Infrastructure Services, OpenStack, cloud delivery teams, and Fortune 500 companies.What you'll doDevelop high-quality, extensible, and reusable software primarily using Go.Collaborate with internal and external users to resolve problems and define new features.Provide technical leadership in feature definition, delivery, and code review.Maintain tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to ensure quality testing.Who you areAt least 5 years of professional software delivery experience using Go, C, C++, or similar.Strong networking background.Degree in a technology-related field.Experience with agile development methodologies.Familiarity with Linux and free software communities.Knowledge of cloud computing and highly-concurrent distributed systems.Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and in a distributed environment.Operational experience with databases.Desirable skills and experiencePassion for quality and testing.Experience with Go programming language.Distributed systems administration expertise.Proficiency in DevOps practices.Experience with test automation and CI strategies.Knowledge of packaging systems like Debian or Snappy.Release management skills.Understanding of complex distributed systems and scale-out solutions.Experience with container technologies (Docker, LXD, Kubernetes).Proficiency with MongoDB.Open source contributions and experience working on distributed teams.We are committed to a workplace free from discrimination, valuing diversity and inclusion to foster a better environment for our employees, users, and customers.
