We are looking for engineers who enjoy prototyping, planning, implementing, and maintaining amazing new features and technology for an existing and beloved game. You will report to the Development Director and work with your Technical Lead to estimate, build and improve projects. Youwill be focused on delivering excellent game experiences through efficient and effective codeYour Responsibilities:You will design and architect technical designs for Online/Game systemsYou will work with a proprietary engine to develop stable, scalable, efficient, and shareable codeYou will work with people on a large team both locally and remotelyYour Qualifications:3+ years of experience with C++ and object:oriented designExperience with server administration and operationExperience with modern Database technologiesKnowledge of networking protocolsExperience with 3rd party APIs2+ years of experience working on Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo game consoles or other embedded systems would be a big plusExperience in real:time game networkingExperience with Visual Studio and debugging toolsExperience with source control systems will come in handyExperience with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Lua) and interpreted languages (C)Remote options are available for this opportunity.
