JOB DESCRIPTION:For our European Distribution Center in Machelen, we are actively looking for an Operations Process Analyst.As an Operations Process Analyst, you will be tasked with interpreting the functional and strategic needs of the Operations department in terms of reporting, tools, and data visualization, as well as with development and implementation at the technical level.You will also provide analytical support to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems and processes being examined (process improvement).You are responsible for designing reports, the development and implementation of tools,Your roles and responsibilities include:Work closely with our operations leaders, taking ownership of KPI reporting, dashboards, and data requests, as well as ad:hoc requestsAnalyze our existing processes and SAP data, report back to operations leadership and suggest methods allowing us to focus on implementing efficiencies (storage capacity, inventory levels, efficiency, service levels, KPI's, optimization shipping boxes...)Develop process designs and process flows for operational processesDocument processes and functional specifications and write work instructionsDevelop and implement automation processes for key reports and toolsWork cross departmentally with Operations, Supply Chain, Support, Sales, Manufacturing and other key business functionsPerform simulations for new scenarios and business casesCoordinate bottom up OpEx budget elaboration and follow:up on monthly spend towards this budgetActing as a role model with regards to communication, customer orientation, accountability, flexibility, accuracy and work ethicsAct as a role model in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologiesEnsuring that activities are carried outaccording to applicable internal and external processes, procedures and guidelines (Quality, Environment, Safety, Health)Quality compliance measured through internal and external auditsYour profile:Bachelor or master degree (Supply Chain, Economics, Statistics,...)A first experience working in an analyst role, supporting a similar operations functionPrevious experience creating reporting structures and standardizing reports and related documentationDetailed knowledge of a major ERP system (SAP and WM preferred)Fluent in English (spoken and written).
