It's an exciting time to join us – we are shaping the future of mining through digital and automated technologies, embracing new ways of thinking, pioneering innovation and reimagining the way we work.About the roleThe Operator - Forklift/Loader Open Cut maintains inventory records of all raw materials, waste and undertake fork lift or loader operations.What you will be doingKey AccountabilitiesPerforms job audits to ensure Orica safe working practices and environmental standards are being fully employed Complies with fork lift and/or loader operating procedures, including: work permits, confined space entry, control of change, PPE application, record keeping, security management and employee handbook Generates of daily and hourly reports Actively participates in "participative management" approach Actively participates in drafting and revision of operating procedures Actively participates in continuous improvement of operating systems advantaging customer and Orica Actively participates in logistics management at site and proactive coordination of product and raw material movements to improve service to customer Actively participates in site meetings, and demonstrable cooperation with Orica and Customer's staff at site. Assists Operations and Site Manager with local communities (in conjunction with client) to facilitate community knowledge and acceptance of site operationsWhat you will bringGenerally up to 2 years experience.
