The RLA Marketing Specialist is responsible for completing sales estimates, customer presentations, technical/commercial proposals for the in-country Sales team including project take-offs, specification interpretation, contract reviews and associated activities for Open Market and Long-Term Service Agreement Customers .
How You'll Make an Impact Manage the integration of multiple product line parts and services into consolidated proposals to meet customer technical/commercial needs and requirements while ensuring competitiveness Coordinate the interpretation of bid documents to ensure Siemens Energy, Inc. proposal meets all technical, commercial and contractual requirements Accurately review and integrate labor and material job costs and provide technical support and advice to Sales and Operations teams. Acts as external liaison working with clients maintaining high level of customer satisfaction. Clear understanding of market conditions, customer needs and competitors active in the region. This not being country specific, but across the RLA Region. With sales, operations and project managers, completes site walk-downs to determine specific client needs and ensure project requirements are met including safety standards. Assist sales by providing project labor and equipment costs, counts, ensuring part number accuracy. Assist in establishing pricing levels including verification of subcontractor/vendor costs. Provide subcontractor bid packages & assistance by evaluating customer site system requirements and accurate job estimates. Research and develop alternative, improved solutions when possible. Facilitate project closure turnover meetings between assigned sales and operations employees. Keep abreast of and educate others on new product information! Maintain and increase technical knowledge and competence in company products, applications and services. Provides guidelines and adds new value to the platform team . What You Bring Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; 10+ years' experience. Excellent knowledge of GS LA products and services portfolio applicable to the Siemens Energy, Inc. fleet in RLA. Solid understanding of technical aspects related to GT, ST and/or Gen. Effectively able to train others on product applications! Strong organizational, project management and communication abilities. Validated ability to develop technical scope. Proven background and exposure with customers in presentations and technical dealings. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point. Fluent in Spanish and English. If Orlando location , applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. About the Team Gas Services Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
