The project planning analyst performs activities to support the aggregation of customer demands across multiple business units. Demands are translated from various customer projects to operational requirements such as inventory needs, geographical considerations, warehouse space, labor needs, etc to generate capacity analysis and risk assessments.- Gather and evaluate multiple data sets whereby information is utilized to define operational requirements for labor, space & equipment for both "on system" demand and "forecasted" demand.- Develop process models, database reporting structures to translate customer demand into operational requirements.- Facilitate meetings to capture customer expectations, validate model assumptions and patterns and communicate forecasts, requirements and risks.- Partner with Supply Chain Analytics team and Advanced Operations to perform network and site capabilities analysis- Assist in developing operating models that identify throughput rates, space utilization and labor utilization.- Participate in site capacity analysis and improvement planning- Responsible for maintaining the databased resources to include SharePoint, Oracle, SQL, and MS Office Excel, along with PowerPoint reports and other support documents**Experience**:- 2-3 years related work experience in manufacturing or distribution.**Education**:- Associate degree required in Information Technology, data science, business management, supply chain management, manufacturing.- Bachelor or Master's degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or Business Management.- Certification in Production and inventory management (CPIM) preferred.- EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER _- WESCO International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates ("WESCO"), is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
