Credit Associate

We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Credit Associate to efficiently support Underwriting team members, to work in conjunction with other departments as well as individually. The position requires skills in time management, multitasking, detail-oriented and analytical skills.**Responsibilities & Duties**:- Conduct reviews on deals underwriting requests, covering background checks and document review and creation of financial tables- Update dashboards for Pre-season- Cross-reference financial documents looking for potential risk factors.- Package potential deals for the finance committee, highlighting strengths and weaknesses- Proactively manage the applicant pipeline while ensuring data accuracy and maintaining all underwriting quality standards- Assist in the refinement and streamlining of existing processes.- Support the retrieval of documentation to assess the credit worthiness of potential borrowers and minimize risk- Various analyses as need on a deal to deal basis to evaluate the risk of potential deals**Requirements**:- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc.- 1 year in a client centered supportive role or administrative function within a fintech or financial services organization- Proficiency with excel and basic formulas- A can-do attitude, strong problem-solving mindset, and strong organizational skills with an outstanding eye for detail and a high degree of accountability- Service-focused with superior time-management and communication skills.- Fluent in Spanish and English (Speak, Read, Write)- Comfortable with analyzing financial statements**Benefits**- Competitive salary- Law Benefits and Stipends- Company Equity- Work-from-home and Cell Phone Stipends
