They consistently strive to improve and meet our ever:changing, diversifying consumer and market needs to stay ahead.**Job Description**:Drafting, amending, review, and vetting of agreements pertaining to Product and Supply Agreements, Non:Disclosure, Intellectual Property rights, MOU, Indemnity Letters, Sale and Purchase Agreement, etc.; as well as monitoring legalCoordinate Intellectual Property matters, prepare documentation for IP hearings and keep up:to:date on related IP mattersProvide legal opinion or advise to various departments on matters pertaining to product and supply issues, Tenancy Agreements, IP rights, Direct Sales Act etc.To provide legal advice mainly to Store Operation Department on matters relating to store operators/leader centersPrepare and send legal notices to clients/IP infringers, filing of legal or civil case against debtors defaulting paymentsCoordinating and briefing/ discussion with external lawyers for legal cases and preparations of case drafts.Follow up with external lawyers for updating of legal cases.To attend the meetings/conferences as and when required.Advise on statutory compliances, mainly on DSA, PDPA,TM etc.Research and prepare legal opinions on various civil matters including claims for compensation against the Company.Assist in the formulation, implementation, and/or amendment of Company policies or Terms and Conditions.Provide sound legal advice to the Company/HODs and make recommendations to Management as necessary.Provide legal assistance to Human Resources team for employment matters and contracts/letter drafting and other related matters.Liaison with relevant Government offices and other competent authorities (if necessary).Assisting Corporate Affairs team in any events and also draft/vet press release or speechThe Successful ApplicantBachelors in Law (LL.B) (Hons)At least 3:5 years of post:qualification experience in practice or as in:house legal counsel in a similar industryExperience in advising on transactions, negotiating contractsDrafting ability is essentialWhats on OfferEstablished organizationGreat exposure and career development opportunitiesWe dont just accept difference:we celebrate it.
