This role will add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.**In this role you will be responsible for**:- Collaborate with the Principal Assurance Lead to provide consulting and support management at all levels in their risk management process.- Perform control testing to assess effectiveness, reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.- Prepare reports that reflect assurance results and document process.- Design and prepare presentations that effectively communicate relevant assurance information to committees and stakeholders.- Act as an objective source of independent assurance to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.- Participate in risk-based assurance and advisory engagements.- Document processes and prepare assurance findings memorandum and follow up on assurance findings raised during relevant reviews.- Participate in risk-based assurance planning activities for the region incorporating second-line and third-party assurance providers- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.**About the profile: Your training, skills & expertise checklist**- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.- Certification in audit (CIA, CISA, CA, ISO 31000) is required.- At least three (3) years of assurance experience in the mining industry.- Data visualisation tools (such as Power BI) and data analytics knowledge are desirable.- Organisational and people skills.- Good attention to detail and analytical skills combined with critical thinking.- Self-motivated, self-driven, with high energy and adaptability.- Ability to work under pressure and deadline driven.- Ability to work flexible hours.- Fluency in English, written and oral.**Travel requirements**:Travel up to 30% worldwide**Competencies and Behaviors required for success in the role**Ensures Accountability- Develops Talent- Drives Engagement- Instils Trust- Collaborates- Customer Focus- Plans and Aligns- Strategic mindset- Communicates effectively- Decision Quality- Courage- Being Resilient- In Chile: All our offers are under the framework of Law 21.015, which encourages the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market.
