Job category Procurement and Supply Chain Management GroupGrade IResponsible for providing elemental procurement, programme and stakeholder management support for the hub or at site, conducting day:to:day (non:category aligned) procurement execution activities under supervision, in order to meet the Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements for procurement operations.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Responsible for end to end purchasing activities of locally sourced and imported finished goods. Coordination and work closely with sources to recommend resolution / alternative solution to ensure supply continuity and meeting BP's expectation.To collate and analyze data/specification/source to identify opportunities and recommend procurement strategy to sustain business competitiveness. Review and seek continuous improvement opportunities on processes and capability in respect to procurement and purchasing, supplier management and etc.Manage Procurement and purchasing operational activities, packaging introduction and transition within assigned delegation of authority, adhere to bp global procurement and local policy.Ensure that all procedures falling under the ownership of this role are maintained and reviewed on the agreed frequency, kept up:to:date, and changes documented and reflected in OMS ONLINE as appropriate. Communicate any changes to the procedures that may impact understanding to the affected workforce. To ensure our HSSE policy and standards are communicated effectively to the suppliers/contractors and monitor their compliance from time to time. To update and control the approved suppliers/contractors listing to respective GSC stakeholders for their daily purchasing operation.To lead and coordinate the end:to:end packaging introduction and transition driven by new product launches, procurement and competitiveness initiatives, marketing initiatives, market geographical extension and etc.To lead supplier relationshipmanagement, contract review and negotiating terms and conditions, ensuring that all internal stakeholders are aligned with sourcing and procurement strategies.Act as response team member for crisis/continuity management, with accountabilities consistent with relevant response plans and as assigned.Act as job representative for contacts as assigned in COMPASS, Liaise and communicate with the Contractor's job representative over fulfilment of responsibilities detailed within the contract, verify identified hazards and controls are implemented, and conduct inspection and audits.To lead/support procurement activities (i.e. tenders, contract negotiation, suppliers' rationalization exercises and etc.) for direct/indirect categories included packaging material, contract manufacturing, third party services and operation requirements; as well as procurement activities driven by initiatives from plant and supply chain operation by ensuring compliance with Group Procurement and local PoliciesHolds University degree or Diploma and equivalent work experience, in an appropriate technical and commercial disciplineHas 5 years or more in relevant business preferably in purchasing, procurement, logistics and supply chain operations.Understand supplier management, Tenders and Contracts Management.Demonstrates ability to work with diverse cross:functional teams to achieve outcomes, solve problems and improve processes.Strong procurement and negotiating skills. Ability skills and techniques of negotiating, understand and influencing contracts and agreements.Good problem:solving and analytical skill:ability to identify risk and develop appropriate approach and action to resolve wide:ranging problem.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and influence at all levels in the organization and seek to promote diversity and inclusion across teams and the business.Good written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong ability in time and resource management.
