Job Description:**Responsibilities**:Manage, mentor and coach a high performing group of software development managers and developers, guiding career paths and growthEnsure our technical architecture and development practices align with immediate and long:term business goals and strategyCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide on time delivery of industry leading, high:quality, new products and featuresMaintain understanding of emerging architecture concepts, methods and associated technology trends to drive new technology research, evaluation and implementationChampion and define technical requirements of the software development process such as performance, reliability, accessibility, high availability, interoperability, and securityProvide leadership in evaluation and management of technical services, SDLC and vendor partnershipsProvide thought leadership in technology direction and services, advocating industry standards adoption and alignment to organization best practicesChampion the appropriate use of technology and provide leadership in balancing technical elegance with functional requirements and practical benefits, as we implement and integrate technologiesRegularly contribute code and design to new and existing solutionsLeverage, maintain and improve automation and pipelines (continuous integration and deployment)Promote knowledge sharing and reusability across product:development teamsGain insight and act as a change agent to influence business and technical partnersTrack and communicate team progress and team status to the stakeholders**Qualifications**:Ten (10) or more years of increasing responsibility in technical roles, with 4 or more years of experience managing multiple development teamsExisting experience with container runtimes and container management systems such as Docker or KubernetesAbility to work with wide variety of programing languagesReal:world experience providing technical leadership on Agile software development projectsExperience in microservice architecture and development,including REST based APIs.Experience with software for high volume data ingestion using technologies such as Snowflake, Kinesis and RedisExperience in full life cycle development, deploy and iteration of powerful analytical appsStrong, effective communication skills that bring multiple personalities, cultures, and roles together to work towards a common goalStrong ability to communicate ideas verbally and written to promote, educate and evangelize adoption across business and development teamsPreferred ExperienceExperience in.NET/.NET CoreAngular, React or other modern front:end frameworksSQL and document databasesTesting frameworksAWS experience preferredDocker, Terraform, Azure DevOps is a plusOur philosophy is one of ownership and collaboration.
