And thats a promise.The Opportunity:The Asset:Based Lending Team based in LA is seeking a Vice President/ Underwriter and Portfolio Manager. This is a critical position for a fast:Growing team that provides senior secured financing to leveraged issuers consisting of both privately owned and public companies.Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:Lead the underwriting of new business transactions with the assistance of an Associate and/or Analyst;Assume key role in preparation of initial screening memos and credit approval packages, including due diligence, financial modeling, and credit documentation review for new transactions;Ongoing portfolio management responsibility for a group of selected accounts monitoring and tracking credit performance,executing amendment requests, etc;Prepare operating and LBO models, comp sheets, rating models, economic return models, and collateral documents.Manage and expand client relationships through partnering with various product partners to deliver INGs various product offerings.Oversee maintenance of credit files and loan documentation.Collaborate with Risk Management and Loan Operations.Assist with KYC diligence and processing.**Requirements**:You will have:A Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or closely related quantitative field7 years of relevant L and/or cash flow/leveraged finance experienceAsset:Based Lending background not required but is a plusDeep understanding of GAAP accounting principles and comfort with core financial statements income statement, cash flow statement and balance sheetHigh proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint:The individual will possess excellent excel skills and be Confidencial to expeditiously build a fully:Functional dynamic, financial modelFundamental understanding of the capital markets and debt productsProgress towards a CFA or CPA is a plusCredit training is a positiveCompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsYou are a driven individual with ility to work under limited direct supervisionYou are a standout colleague and an exceptional teammateYou are highly detail oriented and Confidencial to handle several projects at a time in a fast:Aced environmentING is a committed equal opportunity employer.
