The company will rely on you to have accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.**Responsibilities**- Type financial data into excel spreadsheets using bank statements and financial reports.- Reconcile all data entry- Verify data by comparing it to source documents- Reconcile & Update existing data- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost- Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry.- Verifies and logs receipt of data.- Transcribe source data into the required electronic format.- Transfers information from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.- Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software.- Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents.- Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.- Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information.- Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation.- Responds to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system.- Uses basic office equipment (photocopy machine, facsimile machine, etc.)- Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards.- Completes additional assigned tasks as required.**Skills**- Minimum two proven years of experience using Desktop Quickbooks; you will be tested on all advance functions of Desktop Quickbooks. As well, your job references will be personally checked by our HR dept to confirm your skills and performance- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)- Extensive experience keying in AP, AR and Payroll entries into Desktop Quickbooks- Good command of English, both oral and written and customer service skills.
