We are a highly collaborative and fully distributed team.Barrel is currently looking for an Account Coordinator to join our team. As a remote-first company, you may work from anywhere in the US.At Barrel, the Account Coordinator (AC) plays a crucial role in supporting the Client Services team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between the clients and internal teams. This position requires a blend of organizational, interpersonal and marketing skills to assist in the successful execution and delivery of projects.Key Responsibilities: Assist with the day-to-day operations of assigned client account(s), handling project coordination, communication and executionProvide support to Senior Account Managers and Account Managers on larger accounts, under their supervisionAct as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, gathering information and providing updates as neededSchedule internal and client-facing meetings, taking into account availability of all participants and capturing detailed notesAssist in the process for client onboarding, helping to familiarize clients with our process, tools and teamConduct research and gather data to support Client Services team in developing strategies and recommendations for clientsCoordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely deliveryMonitor project progress and deadlines, flagging potential issues to Account Managers or Director Assist in preparing project briefs, gathering client feedback, and ensuring that all relevant information is accurately documented and communicated to the appropriate teamsAssist in monitoring project finances and tracking billable hours, contributing to profitability analysisMaintain organized records of client communication, project details, and account historySkills:Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated and detail-orientedStrong time management skillsAbility to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and succeed in a fast-paced environmentAbility to apply common sense understanding in order to carry out detailed instructionsLevel-headed and positive under pressureNaturally curious and highly proactive, with a passion for learning new skillsStrong web and Mac desktop skills – we use the Shopify ecosystem, Google, Slack, Basecamp, JIRA, Harvest and ForecastExperience:1-3 years of account or project management experience in the advertising/marketing industryAgency experience required; digital experience strongly preferredClient experience within the eCommerce space is a plusBachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing or similar field$55,000 - $65,000 a yearAs a full-time member of the Barrel team, we offer the following benefits:- Remote Work- Competitive Salary- Health/dental/vision coverage- Paid vacation- Half-day Fridays all year round- Remote home setup stipend- Profit-sharing- 401k match- Professional development stipendMost importantly, we work on projects that truly impact our clients' businesses and attract team members who love to be challenged with tough problems and fast-paced work.Barrel is proud to be an equal opportunity employer dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
