Corporate Accounting Senior

Our client is a global investment company in the real estate industry. They are growing rapidly due to acquisition and are expanding their team in Irving, TXThe Senior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in timely preparation and issuance of complete and accurate monthly and annual consolidated financial statements. The performance of this position will be primarily measured by how successful we are in the ensuring that all entries and reconciliations are completed.**Responsibilities**:- Assist in month:End close and consolidation of entities by maintaining schedules and posting entries for the amortization of prepaid assets, interest accrual on loan, payroll expense, corporate credit card and income loss allocation.- Additional month:End duties include AP accruals, legal accruals, and G and A accruals / analysis.- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedule.- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations for Domestic and International entities, analyze the variance if any and make necessary adjusted entries.- Respond to inquiries related to General Ledger account balances and transactions/ journal entries.
