Focused on co:operatives and agricultural associations and/or private companies in need of working capital or for the development of investment projects, based on Fair Trade Principles.Key Responsibilities:Reports to the South American Lending Manager (LM SA). Responsible for maintaining a loan portfolio in the region and for the execution of some administrative tasks. Builds and develops relationships with existing customers through contact and regular visits. The role involves giving special attention to the main lending risks and financial needs of each customer, carrying out agreed visit plans and preparing performance related reports. In charge of the annual review of the customers' credit facilities, ensuring all the required information is gathered, analysed, and informed. Works in an assigned geographic area to maximize loan income, maintaining a quality portfolio and controlling risks in line with corporate objectives, business plan and lending targets and limits. Follow up of customers with any inconsistency, including arrears cases. Manages customer transactions and requests, coordinating with customers and colleagues. Maintains a close relationship with existing customers through an effective communication. Attends trade shows, partner forums and other activities involving existing and potential customers. Develops relationships with networks and partners within the region. Manages some administrative duties, supporting related institutions and acting as a liaison in the region to assist with thefollow:up of projects.**Location**:Lima:Peru, mostly remote work and on:site when required. The position involves travel within Peru, to countries in the region (if requested) and to the head office.**Education**:Professional with a Degree on Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Sales Management, or similar careers, preferably with Finance and Banking studies, with predisposition for financial management and customer service.Required Competencies:Knowledge of credit evaluation methods, financial analysis, risk analysis, interpretation of financial statements. Familiarized with local and international coordination work and with the management of time:bound goals. Understanding of the current economic situation, local and regional market potential. With excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, proactivity, ability to perform multiple tasks, and enjoys an international working environment. Must have a strong social motivation. Proficient in Ms Office.**Experience**:More than 2 years of financial and commercial experience engaging with customers, with solid technical knowledge and personal aptitude for the development of business related to the institution's purposes. Understanding and management of financial reports, credit analysis, business potential, ability to assess cash flows, etc. Must have previous experience working in financial institutions, investment funds, international cooperation organisms in the agricultural sector, or in dealing and developing alliances with organisations (NGOs, banks, social finance).Language skills:Required:Bilingual Spanish:English (Advanced level, fully fluent, written and oral)
