To lead on a student wellbeing and progress inspiring others and modelling a self:reflective, self:improving approach. To ensure that colleagues are supported and provide amazing learning by setting high expectations and providing continuous development. To contribute to a culture supporting the safety and wellbeing of all members of the community.Principal Accountabilities:Student Wellbeing and ProgressWellbeing and safety:To either take responsibility for or support the SLT member responsible for safety and wellbeing of all students and adults in the secondary school.Learning and E mbedding Quality:Leading colleagues to ensur e learning takes place that supports outstanding progress and assessments and data are used to intervene where needed.Joint Accountabilities as part of the Secondary Senior Leadership TeamLeadership and Development:Lead, inspire and dev elop middle leaders, teachers, and administrative staff in the secondary school.Vision and Strategy:To contribute to afocus on the four key areas of the Secondary School:Learning, Experiences, Community and Futures:aligning with the ISP vision of ' Schools of Choice '.Marketing, Admissions and Communication:Model and contribute to the effective articulation of the story of the secondary school with focus on the principal area of responsibility.Commercial Success and KPI's:Support the Head of Secondary in the growth and success of the secondary school against its KPIs.Partnership with ISP:To work with and contribute to the wider group and articulate the benefits.Partnership with Parents, Carers and the wider Community:Develop effective relationships based on a culture of partnership.Specific Responsibilities:Dependent on the area of responsibility assigned to the Deputy Head role.Wellbeing and SafetyA ct as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the secondary school if another senior leader is not appointed.Model and foster an open culture and inclusive atmosphere where everyone looks out for each other and focuses on learning and getting better.P ut the safety and wellbeing of our young people and adults above everything else.K now, uphold and develop, as part of the SLT, the safeguarding, child protection, safer recruitment and whistleblowing polices, and any other policies related to safeguarding.Learning and Embedding QualitySupport teachers to improve learning in lessons to achieve outstanding student progress.Create systems that use assessments and data to identify students who require intervention.Work with the SLT in the secondary school to ensure progress towards the 9 criteria ISP Learning Improvement Process.C elebrate 'Amazing Learning' in the school community by students and adults.Joint Responsibilities as part of the Secondary Senior Leadership TeamLeadership and DevelopmentModel empathetic leadership demonstrating integrity and self:reflection, knowing your strengths and areas for development.L ead and
