General Manager, Diamond Foundry Spain

We produce single:crystal diamond (SCD) wafers by crystallizing greenhouse gas into diamond using proprietary plasma reactors powered by zero:emission energy. Founded in 2012 in San Francisco, California by Stanford/M.I.T./Princeton engineers, Diamond Foundry Inc. received 315MM in funding and has had a multi:year track record of profitable fast growth.We are looking for a general manager to build and manage our Spain foundry. You will hire a team of engineers, technicians, operators, line managers and supporting staff to successfully operate this new foundry. The location is Trujillo, Extremadura.Duties of this position include:Construct:Oversee the build and fit:up of our Spain foundry, serving as a liaison between the local construction company and our Advanced Factory Systems teamRecruit:Hire and build up a dynamic, high:performing teamManage:Oversee day:to:day operations, establishing and driving production goals, includingEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures, providing resources and training.Developing performance, efficiency, quality, and safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting results to executive leadership.Managing finances, monitoring budgets, expenses, and product unit costs to drive revenue and margin projections.Managing relations with local and central governments, suppliers, and customersWorking closely with the US team**Requirements**:Proven track record as a General or Plant Manager of a technology manufacturing company or similar management role with at least 10+ years of experience in managing large technology or semiconductor manufacturing teams and operationsExpertise in lean manufacturing processesKnowledgeable in business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operation, manufacturing process...etc.)Excellent in communication, collaboration, interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to communicate in English, and SpanishExperience in working with a multinational team is highly desirableBachelors Degree or higher in Importante empresa
