Your managerial and technical skills will help in guiding the team members. You will manage performance of direct and indirect reports and support Operating Unit objectives through goal setting, assessment, coaching and performance evaluation of team members. Your understanding of the external marketplace and customer requirements will facilitate in instituting knowledge sharing practices in your team and outside. You shall be relied on to manage operational activities that support the goals of the division and sets direction for its success.Through your expertise and extensive knowledge,you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.How You Will Achieve ItSet objectives for and manage multiple projects/ ongoing work activities within the Operating Unit.Develop innovative, advanced new concepts that improve processes or products across own and related disciplines.Partner with the Quality Operations (QO), Manufacturing Operations and Site Leadership Teams to ensure the QO site goals and objectives are met and supported by a highly flexible and agile team.Lead the Quality Business Planning team to develop and monitor the capital and expense budgets for the division ensuring all QO teams operate within the formalized budgets.Provide leadership and direction to the assigned teams responsible for management and administration of procedures, documentation, records management, computer system validation, audits, inspections and compliance effectiveness.Approve quality operations and production quality assurance reports and investigations for deviations from approved manufacturing processes or specifications.Effectively collaborate with functional leadership to ensure local and global processes are well defined and presented in procedures.Represent Quality Operations on more complex facility decisions (i.e. product entry, campaign start up) that may impact/contribute to the manufacture of clinical / commercial products.Assess existing situations and suggest continuous improvements to increase compliance and innovation.Guide the process for recruitment of new staff, staff development, either directly as a team leader,or indirectly as a senior member of the team.Provide functional leaders with performance feedback for site:based colleagues.Provide ongoing education on Quality to relevant functional groups, to increase awareness and understanding of requirements and enhance the Quality Culture.Lead and support initiatives that contribute to building and strengthening the quality culture within the assigned operating unit.Build and oversee a high performing team of professionals and managers to deliver on targets
