Job Description:General Manager:HSSEQ Job Description Description Role and Key Accountabilities To monitor the companys HSSEQ performance, provide the Head of Operations and the organisation with HSSEQ support, guidance and continuous improvement opportunities.Monitor the operations Compliance Assurance Management System CAMS and the key international standards ISM / ISPS / ISOs for compliance.Reinforce and promote to the organisation the key provisions set out within the Companys Major Accident Prevention Policy CMAPP.Actively promote the companys Core Values SURE and the key principles behind a robust safety culture. Compiles, analyses, and interprets statistical data related to exposure factors concerning environmental, accidents and occupational illnesses and prepares reports Support the risk management process for effective Safety Case development, HAZOP, HAZID, FRA, QRA, and TRA to ensures the risk are managed.Ensure work:related accident and illness records, chemical disposal and other records required by law in the regions being operated in, are monitored correctly.Responsible for formulating and recommending policies and measures to decrease or eliminate accidents, health hazards and damage to life and property.Implements and monitors requirements to maintain International Safety Management ISM and International Standard Organisation ISO where applicable.Assists in reviewing projects to ensure compliance with the contract and the specific Regulatory Compliance Plans RCPs.Oversees relevant HSSQE activities during proposal, execution and operations. Manages and monitors the integrated assurance plan audits and the HSSEQ Plan.Ensure that investigations into work related accidents and injuries are conducted and properly addressed in accordance to operations investigation procedures.Monitor the effectiveness of the emergency response processes and interfaces across the organisation and monitor the effectiveness of the scheduled ER exercises.Develops, supervises, conductsand coordinates training program to increase proficiency in safety consciousness for onshore and offshore staff.Counsels managers and supervisors on safety matter and conducts safety conferences as needed. Manages and oversees the operations Compliance Assurance Management System CAMS.Manage and oversee the companys risk and opportunity registers including the legal and environmental registers. Interaction with BAB Corporate Head of HSSEQ and the corporate support teams.Regular interfaces with Offshore Installation Managers OIMs, In:country Operations Manager and key departmental heads within the KL Operations business unit.Frequent external party interfaces with In:country Regulators, Third Party Contractors and our Clients Education and Experiences Hold membership with a recognised industry wide professional safety body such as but not restricted or limited to the Institute of Occupation Safety and Health IOSH, British Safety Council BSC and / or the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health NEBOSH.Note:The Company will accept in:country national safety training certification provided it is from a recognised in:country national safety body.At least 10 years in the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures, preferably in design and operation of oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical or refining facilities.Hand:on operational experience is preferred. At least 5 years supervisory or managerial experience at a senior level. Specific experience in the HSE in the Oil and Gas Industry.Experience dealing with clients and government entities. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA Occupational Safety and Hazards Administration and EPA Environment Protection Agency, International Maritime Organisation and ISM International Safety Management regulations, requirements, standards and best practices.Demonstrated ability to use stati
