Infrastructure Engineer

ITtecture, a technology company is looking to expand its consulting team in Peru by hiring a Systems Engineer who will join a challenging environment with great career advancement opportunities.

Profile required.

• Technology professional in Systems Engineering, Informatics, or related careers.
• To contribute to the effective service provisioning of our technical consulting team.
• Proactively ensure the highest level of availability for the mission critical infrastructure of our clients.
• Liaise with clients and other cross-functional teams.
• Liaise with vendors and other technology personnel for problem resolution.
• Collaborative work and support to other team members.
• Strong personality and leadership skills.
• High ethical standards of trust and work.
• Highly responsible and a good manager of its assignments and time.
• Based in Lima, home working for now but available to temporary relocate for specifics projects, inside or outside the country.

Skills.

• Experience in Azure and/or AWS technologies.
• Working background with virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Familiar with operational support to Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Platforms.
• Desired experience with Veeam and EDRs.
• Knowledge of basis networking fundamentals.
• System programming and shell scripting.
• Proficient in English language (intermediate to advanced level)
• Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Could be assigned to a specific client as an outsourcing, but also could work with the internal team in projects development, proposals, or support.
• Design, implement and maintain Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructure of our clients.
• Ensure effective monitoring of critical on-premises or cloud infrastructure at customer sites.
• Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry standards as well as emerging business requirements.
• Earn the confidence of customers, partners, and colleagues as trusted advisor in ITtecture.
