What the role is The Sales Director is responsible for ensuring an optimal promotion, distribution and revenue generation of all products available at Selina. This position report to the VP Global Sales and Distribution and will be implementing Global Sales strategies while following corporate procedures. Should have in depth knowledge of the market and will be developing partnerships and brand promotions. What you will be doing Sales Create, manage, and execute the Global sales action plan and forecast Achieve revenue goals for all revenue streams Corporate and Leisure (transient, groups etc.) Manage, retain and grow established customers (transient) and groups (group business) Responsible for all sales processes in the given market and synergies with other country or global locations. Dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations. Overseethe customer experience for fam trips, and educational visits for customers Cross:selling of products Open new sales channels and manage existing ones Group sales conversion, turnover, and operational support Close Global level deals for groups and packages (corporate offsites, student groups, etc.) with the help of country and local teams when needed Sourcing new tour products and destinations to meet consumer demands. Prospect new clients e.g., Tour Operators, Corporate, DMCs, Travel Agencies, M and E; Agencies and Creative Marketing Agencies Provide sales performance reports to the leadership on tracking progress against targets, successes, and challenges Responsible for ensuring proper use of CRM What you need for the role Degree in Sales, Business Administration Hospitality Market knowledge and established network Hotel revenue management understanding Forecasting and budgeting English proficiency (other European languages a plus) Minimum 5 years in sales management Previous experience in sales in hospitality is a plus Time Management, Creativity and Cultural Sensitivity Skills Revenue and Profit Oriented Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Able to work independently and creatively to close new sales opportunities Able to work and collaborate in a matrix environment Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
