Kenny Hills Bakers is looking to hire a dynamic, ambitious and experienced Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager to oversee the purchasing, logistics, and supply chain strategy of the various brands under our company.It is a new department so you will need to be able to work independently until a larger team is required.Job Scope:Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.. Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.. Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.. Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.. Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.. Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.. Coordinates removal or disposal of surplus materials.. Determine key supply chain KPIs. Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner. Provide constructive feedback. Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors.
