Role PurposeThis role is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to grow Chubb's consumer business via retail Fintech in the region.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and managing commercial areas, as well as a deep understanding of the Latin American Fintech markets.We are looking for a true insider and expert in these specific industry.Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow Chubb's Fintech in Latin America.- Influence, lead, and manage a team of local business development managers.- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at major Fintech companies.- Nurturing a source of Prospects in all the countries and ensuring a correct process of profiling them and their key leaders.- Track and report on deals progress and performance on our Pipeline management tool (HubSpot).- Depending on the size, participate actively in the structuring of the proposals, negotiation, and closing of new deals;or giving support to Local Teams in those activities.- Promote or assist with events with the purpose of building and maintaining networking.- Coaching and training local commercial teams.- Identify new trends, technologies, customer segments, products, and services to develop new insurance business opportunities.- Be the voice of the Fintech industry inside Chubb, sharing market trends, opportunities, pain points, technologies, new product opportunities, etc.in that sense, be the role of the Business Owner in the process of developing new business propositions for that industry.- Collaborate with the different areas (UW, Ops, IT, Finance, M, Distribution, Claims, Digital, of the Chubb organization at the local, regional, and global levels to put the best proposals in place.- Other projects and tasks as assigned.Experience- Ten (10) years or more in Fintech industry experience.- Experience in managing and closing several large complex deals worth millions of dollars.- Proven track record of success in leading and managing commercial teams.- Preferably if know and have participated in insurance distribution in that industry.Requirements- Proficient in MS Applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point).- Advanced knowledge of the structure and content of Spanish and / or Portuguese language.- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute complex plans.- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with C-level executives, Investors, Fund Managers, Founders, Accelerators, Advisors and Legal professionals.- Deep understanding of the Latin American markets in Fintech,passionate about digital platforms, marketplaces, and their variations in business models.- Effectively executes on plans, drives for results and takes accountability for outcomes.- Upholds and models Chubb values and always does the right thing for the company, colleagues, and customers.
