As the **Senior Global Accountant **at EdgeUno, you will manage financial records, prepares reports for multiple countries, ensures compliance with international accounting standards, handles tax filings, and coordinates with various teams across different locations to maintain accurate financial data. This role involves analyzing global financial data, supervising accounting BPOs, and implementing strategies to optimize financial processes across international borders.**Core Responsibilities**- Execute day-to-day Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Analysis for assigned areas.- Generate journal entries associated with the monthly closing of the general ledger.- Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and promptly resolve any discrepancies.- Take the lead on accounting and finance special projects as they arise.- Prepare Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements.- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government tax reporting requirements.- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly variance and trend analysis for Profit and Loss.- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliations for the Balance Sheet.- Manage relationships with External Auditors and BPOs.**Requirements**:- Proficiency in English (>C1), Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.- Demonstrated experience and expertise in working with Financial Statements, Consolidation, and conducting Month-end/Year-end closings.- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP).- Proficiency in handling ERP.
