You'll advance this vision by working with a cross-functional engineering and design group to find our most important problems and shape iterative solutions towards them.**General requirements**:- Experience as a product manager in a high-growth company.- Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in payroll, HR, benefits, billing, fintech, or similar. Ideally hands-on experience working with contractors- Great judgment in making both strategic (what to prioritise) and tactical (feature scope) decisions- Demonstrable, self-driven results that have moved a product in the right direction- A strong sense of product design (UX)- A passion for products that just work, even if the problems they solve are boring and complicated- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including across different departments (e.g. business operations, sales, etc.) to ensure that we satisfy critical customer and business requirements- Business-level proficiency in writing and speaking English.**Key Responsibilities**:- Build solutions together with the rest of the team that serve the needs of contractors and freelancers- Collaborate with the Principal Product manager and General Manager to create long-term strategic plans for your team- Form and share a near-term strategic vision for your product area that incorporates market research, competitive analysis, and other inputs- Drive Remote in the right direction by building an effective roadmap for your area of the product- Lead on solutions independently.
