Your reliable communication skills enable you to explain vehicle diagnosis and recommend necessary service work to prolong vehicle longevity based on your communication with the technicians.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Determine automotive problems and services by listening to customers descriptions of symptoms and clarifying descriptions of problemsVerify warranty and servicecontract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusionsDevelop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labourPrepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services requiredMaintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customers approval of estimates and answering questions and concernsMaintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions plannedUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers publicationsEnhance the stores reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Requirements:At least three years of customer service experiencePrevious experience in an Automotive Service Advisor role is considered an assetStrong interpersonal skills:a good listener who can cultivate relationshipsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work in a team:driven environmentGood organization and learning skillsValid driver's license with acceptable drivers abstract Why Steele Auto?
