Service Engineer

Resumen de Posición:Plan, execute, analyze, and report all activities regarding field services by providing high quality in scope, ESH requirements and deliverables. Support different areas in the company (sales, contract cells, QA, PRO shop) regarding technical knowledge and warranty management.Responsabilidades Esenciales:Travel to job site to resolve issues as required.- To support all Aftermarket requirements at site.- To support all New Equipment requirements at site.- To work and support activities related with all field services (plant walk around, pumping systems evaluation, repairs, start-up, and equipment monitoring).- Provide training to customers and employees on operation and maintenance of pumps.- Receive customer complaints and take corrective action to resolve them. This includes preparing field service schedules activities and field service reports (Spanish and English).- Field service activity, for correction, also involves negotiating settlements with customers, investigation of the order file, to identify the specifics on a product shipped or working with other departments to determine and carry out the appropriate action.- Provide Failure Analysis and Field Reports for customers + recommend upgrades and complete expense claims and time sheets to cover on site visits.- Provide technical assistance to the Goulds and Bornemann sales force and customers in troubleshooting pump and system problems.- Provide technical expertise to attend warranty claims at field. Analyze them for validity and take necessary action to satisfy Goulds warranty policy. Involve other departments, as required, to obtain resolution to warranty claims including,- Provide accurate information on what ITT competitors are doing to try to take away our Aftermarket business- Weekly reports of activities and expenses to direct supervisor or whoever in the company that requires this informationRequisitos del Puesto:Degree Mechanical or Mechanical/Electrical Engineer- Minimum experience in similar or related positions of five (5) years.- Fluent in English- Domestic and International travel to customers installation is required.
