Supervise accounting, work according to generally accepted standard accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work.**Responsibilities**:- Prepares monthly/quarterly consolidated reports (USGAAP & Local) ensuring they are produced on a timely basis.- Review monthly reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts.- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.- Ensures that all necessary documents are always requested, collected, and compiled in a timely manner.- Coordinates between the different areas to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.- Ensures all accounting tasks and transactions are completed in a timely manner.- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.- Establish and maintain fiscal files (statutory) and records to document transactions.- Supporting tax team with tax compliance activities throughout the fiscal year (filling tax reports, etc).- Assists in auditing activities by providing the necessary information.- Supervising accounting activities under this role (i.e., accounting assistant).- Manage staff under role to promote development & collaboration plan (promoting Driscoll's culture).- Compliance with Internal Controls over financial reporting.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree: Accounting- 3 years or more of proven working experience as Accounting Lead/Supervisor.- 8 years of experience in accounting roles.- Areas of experience: Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, Agricultural costing is a plus.- IFRS, US GAAP & accounting knowledge.
