Quality Compliance And System Specialist

Abbott is recruiting a Quality Compliance and System Specialist to be based in our European Distribution Center in Machelen, Belgium.Role and Responsibilities:Support the Quality Manager with development and maintenance of quality related procedures and work instructions and execute change control processes and documentationExecute and follow:up on incoming and in process inspection, returns, ship holds, quarantine shipments; document actions by completing reports and logs in the foreseen dbases and communicate with appropriate stakeholdersExecute and follow:up on proper storage/labeling of all material requiring physical segregationSupport execution of advisories and recall while interaction with EMEAC RA/QAAssist with internal audits and verificationsSupport execution of critical distribution activities including but not limited to labeling, packaging, shelf life extension, demo creation, scrap, service and repair, manufacturing activitiesSupport execution of clinical trials activities, including but not limited to products storage, processing returned products, provide requested reports on traceability, follow up on dispositioning of products when trial is completed.Communicate recommendations to improve quality processesTake ownership in specific Quality Management System continuous improvement projects as assigned and agreed with line managerYour Profile:University degree, graduated science, or equivalent work experienceExperience with Quality SystemsExperience in internal audits is a plusKnowledge of the MDD, AIMDD and ISO 13485 requirementsWorking proficiency in English languageExtensive MS Office skills, computer literacyTeam playerAbility to respect confidential nature of informationFocused on maintenance of effectiveness of processesGood communication skillsAbbott offers an attractive salary package with opportunities to grow and develop.
