Posting Date: 21 Mar 2024- City: Lima- Location: Lima, PE- Contract Type: Permanent- Division: Marine Americas Region- Level of experience: SeniorRINA is currently recruiting for a **Marine Peru Operations Senior Surveyor** to join its office in El Callao, Peru within the Marine Americas Region Division.**Mission**:To conduct the assessment and inspection of ships and other marine structures during construction and in operation, ensuring compliance with Class requirements, statutory regulations, and any other applicable standards.**Job Responsabilities**:- Prepare and maintain technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and assessments.- Perform routine inspections on classed ships, platforms, or other marine structures at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.- Collaborate with colleagues on various projects and tasks.- Work closely with senior professionals to gain practical experience in the field.**Requirements**:- Minimum 3 years experience in the engineering or inspection/survey fields with an IACS member Classification Society- Bachelor's degree in Naval Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or similar.- Significant experience in marine vessel or structure inspection.- Strong knowledge of classification rules, statutory regulations, and related technical requirements.- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Advanced computer skills.- Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the scope of classification, statutory certification, related services and, before assignment, with their future work.**Additional Information**- Workplace: El Caolla, PeruWith over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player which provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
