Manages the implementation and delivery of a range of risk services to designated project(s) within the PMO and planning Centre of Excellence. You'll be responsible for: Supporting the risk management performance and effective implementation of risk framework(s)/strategy(s).Providing project and programme progress information and metrics reporting to the portfolio governance process.Assisting with risk identification and risk strategy development and communicating risks and issues relate to programme components.Coordinating communication across projects within the programme.Monitoring compliance to policies.Providing knowledge management including lessons learned.Contributes to team performance, driving performance and results, whilst delivering performance management, technical development and coaching.Builds strong professional relationships with client/client representative(s).Provides advice and support to project team in the administration of the risk process, particularly with respect to the risks to achievement of key objectives and the escalation of risk(s).Facilitations and delivery of risk workshops.Works with project manager to recognise opportunities and mitigations to minimise risk exposure.Supporting the risk management performance on their assigned commission(s).Effective implementation of risk framework(s)/strategy(s) on assigned commission(s).Accountable for ensuring risk mitigation action plans are developed, owners appointed and that project plans are updated and monitored.Supports the delivery of project quantitative risk analysis (cost and time).Delivers monthly risk reports, externally to client and internally to project team, contributing on the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle.Ensures all activities/operations are carried out in line with Mace Control Centre, client requirements and prevailing legislation.Actively engages in the integration of risk with PMO and planning disciplines.Supports more junior risk managers and other project staff as required.Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
